System

We've got the best "System" in the world, isn't that enough?  I wish it were, but its not!  How many employees put out the effort to become the best they can be:  I'm talking about for their entire career?  How many of these employees gain or achieve the same level of reward throughout their career as their effort should merit?  Do you control when you get a raise?  Do you control when you get additional training and/or a promotion?  What is it that you do control?  There's a couple of real world answers to what you do control, and you should know what they are and how to use them.

It's true:  For the most part, you don't want to be anywhere else in the world to live and work.  There are about 140 countries in the world that if you were there for just one week, you would have a much greater appreciation for what we have here.  The main career question is:  Are you in control of your employment career, or is the “System?”  If your answer was the "System" or that you don't know who's in control, then possibly knowing how you can take a little control might be extremely important.  At the same time, just because we start taking a little control over our employment career doesn't mean that we all will become President.  However, by taking a little control, it will significantly increase your odds of achieving more of your career "wants" and "goals".  If you've read any of the other sections within this web site, you now know there is – it's in the “RKS:  298” Employment Concept.  It's all about the "real world of employment"!
