Marketable

How does an employee know when they are the most Marketable?  Everyone who works has a skill, but the real test to determine your marketability is how many employers want what you have?  In today's medical equipment marketplace technology is changing rapidly, and with that so does the value of an individual's experience.  When most of us started working careers we often heard two common statements:  You don't have any experience, or you need to have more experience.  This leads most of us to believe that it is mainly about the number of years' experience we have, not the value of our skill set.  Therein lies part of the marketability problem; too many of us end up being very good with old stuff (skills)!  Look at it in this way:  Do you normally spend more money for new or for old stuff?

The "Real World of Employment" criterion has become the foundation of the “RKS:  298” Concept and was developed from information gained from interviewing, evaluating and consulting large and small companies in every industry over the past 36 years.  The marketability of one's skill set is only important if there's still something you need to accomplish from your career.  I'd like to give everyone this "real world of employment" piece of information for free; however, we all know very little in life is free.  Give me a call and we'll talk about it.  Of course there's another important factor about receiving a valuable piece of information:  It's only beneficial if one actually uses it.  The “RKS:  298” Employment Concept will be available for purchase on our website before the end of 2002.
