Getting There

If you really don't know where you are going, how are you ever going to get there?  This is a very simple statement that will come back to haunt the majority of the workforce later in their career.

Here's a question:  How many hours and/or days do you spend planning a vacation?  There are many factors you will need to consider; time, events, lodging, transportation and dollars required are just a few.  I don't believe the day you start your trip you go to the airport and look up at the destination board to determine where you're going.  Yet that's basically what most of us are doing when we select our next job and/or company, and we really don't know where the company's going or if they can get us to our career destination!  We only hope!!!

There are many pitfalls ahead in most everyone's personal life, as well as in their employment career.  In ones' career there are some that cannot be anticipated, but we must live with them and that can be very costly.  In many of those situations there are things we could have done to have averted them, if only the "System" had given us the proper career information up front.  When it comes to an individual's career, the costs can be too great for not knowing or preparing for these potential catastrophes.  Here's one of the major career pitfalls:  The "System" didn't teach us how to plan our employment career or its future!

It's not that most of us don't have a career goal, because most of us do.  Our stumbling block is that we don't know all of the steps that are required to achieve it.  Again, if we don't know where we're going ----!!!!!  The “RKS:  298” Employment Concept provides you with the proper career data required on how to plan and increase your odds for future success.
